RIMS Grant Program (RiGra)  - GENERAL INFORMATION

RIMS Executive Board has planned a special RIMS Grant Program. A grant is allowed for a group of member centres who wish to collaborate on a project. Activities that RIMS will support are: multi-centre studies, a shared best practise network, a SIG project, …
The Grant is available for European professionals, in order to facilitate their projects related to Multiple Sclerosis. At least three members (individual or centers) of three different European countries have to be involved.

RIMS will support up to two grants annually, with a sum of max 5000 € per one project. In order to attain the grant, the principal applicant needs to fill in the Application form which includes a project proposal with detailed description of the project plan. Several categories are distinguished in the application form, but can be concisely completed (shorter than maximum allowed for the category).

Also, if an application to the ethical committee is needed, it is preferably done before application or a draft for requesting approval is added. Alternatively, the time line is adapted and moment of funding of a project is dependent on approval.

RIMS Executive Board members evaluate the applications and may appoint  1-2 external evaluators among the RIMS Advisory Board or other experts.

In 2011, the application dead line is November 3rd, 2011 and feedback will be provided by February 15th 2012.

The RiGrant Application form can be downloaded here and is send to the president of RIMS, Peter.Feys@uhasselt.be as representative of the executive board.
