Vicki Matthews - Sig & Membership Coordinator
Victoria works as the Specialist nurse advisor to the MS Trust, a national charity that provides information, advice and support to people with MS, their families and health professionals involved in MS care.
Her role is to advise the MS Trust educational and information teams, participate in educational programmes, research projects and inform trustees for strategy development. She develops new resources for health and social care professionals.
She also represents the MS Trust at key national meetings, forums and steering groups.
Victoria belongs to the International Organisation of MS Nursing, the UK MS Specialist Nursing Association and British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. She is also a committee member of the Royal College of Nursing Neuroscience Forum.
She has a Masters Degree in rehabilitation counselling and has worked as a nurse specialist and counsellor in both general neurology and MS. Her special interest is the emotional experience of MS.
