
Dr. Thomas Henze - Member

Since 1980 he is working in the field of
clinical neurology. He has completed his neurological training at the
Neurologic University Hospital of Goettingen/Germany. In 1992 he moved
to Kliniken Schmieder at Allensbach/Lake of Constance, a large
Neurologic Rehabilitation Hospital, and, in 2002, was appointed as head
of Reha-Zentrum Nittenau/Bavaria. Since the 80ies he is engaged in the
treatment of MS patients. Since 2001 he is a member of the Medical
Advisory Board of the German MS Society (DMSG).
Between 2003 and 2004 he developed – together with several other MS
specialists from Germany, Austria and Switzerland – consensus guidelines
on symptomatic MS treatment for the DMSG. These guidelines have been
also discussed in a huge number of European MS societies and the
European MS Platform in 2007 within the
Code of Good Practice.
He is a member of the Executive Board of RIMS since May 2008.
